"Your Word is like a lamp that guides my steps, a light that shows the path I should take."

Psalms 119:105 (ERV)

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give your rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV)

Jan. 30, 2018

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all , taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints...

Eph. 6:11-18 (NKJV)

January 26, 2018

I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore, you shall choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants,

DEUTERONOMY 30:19 AMP

January 25, 2018

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth.
Serve the Lord with gladness and delight;
Come before His presence with joyful singing.
Know and fully recognize with gratitude that the Lord Himself is God;
It is He who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His.]
We are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving, and His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name.
For the Lord is good;
His mercy and loving kindness are everlasting, His faithfulness [endures] to all generations.

Psalm 100 (AMP)

Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.

For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

 Rom 10:13 (NKJV)

June 16, 2015

And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid, STAND STILL, AND SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians (enemy) whom you see today, YOU SHALL SEE AGAIN NO MORE FOREVER!

Exo.14:13 (NKJV)

June 15, 2015

If we love our brothers and sisters who are believers, it proves that we have passed from death to life. But a person who has no love is still dead. Anyone who hates another brother or sister is really a murderer at heart. And you know that murderers don't have eternal life within them. We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.

If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion how can the love of God be in that person?

Dear children, let's not merely say that we love each other, let us show the truth by our actions. Our actions will show that we belong to the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before God.

1 John 3:14:19 (NLT)

June 11, 2015

In the same way the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison.

Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God.

And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth.

SURELY, MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS THIS IS NOT RIGHT!

James 3:5-10 (NLT)

June 10, 2015

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, or boastful, or proud, or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless.

BUT LOVE WILL LAST FOREVER!

1 Cor. 13:4-8 (NLT)

June 9, 2015

I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from Him. He alone is my Rock and my Salvation, my Fortress where I will never be shaken.

Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in Him. He alone is my Rock and my Salvation, my Fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my Refuge, a Rock where no enemy can reach me.

O MY PEOPLE, TRUST IN HIM AL ALL TIMES. POUR OUT YOUR HEART TO HIM, FOR GOD IS OUR REFUGE.

Psalms 62:1,2-5-8 (NLT)

June 8, 2015

Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to children of Israel.

The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. He will now always strive with us, nor will He keep His anger forever.

HE HAS NOT DEALT WITH US ACCORDING TO OUR SINS, NOR PUNISHED US ACCORDING TO OUR INIQUITIES, FOR AS THE HEAVENS ARE HIGH ABOVE THE EARTH, SO GREAT IS HIS MERCY TOWARD THOSE WHO FEAR HIM;

Psalms 103: 1-11 (NKJV)

June 5, 201k

Who may climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place?

Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies. They will receive the Lord's blessing and have a right relationship with their Savior. Such people may seek You and worship in Your presence, O God of Jacob.

Psalms 24:3-6 (NLT)

June 4, 2015

So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Heb. 4:14-16 (NLT)

June 3, 2015

My dear child, don't shrug off God's discipline, but don't be crushed by it either. It's the child he loves that He disciplines; the child He embraces, He also corrects.

God is educating you; that's why you must never drop out. He's treating you as dear children. This trouble that you're in isn't punishment; it's training, the normal experience of children. Only irresponsible parents leave children to fend for themselves. Would you prefer an irresponsible God? We respect our own parents for training and not spoiling us, so why not embrace God's training so we can truly live?

While we were children, our parents did what seemed best to them. But God is doing what is best for us, training us to live God's holy best.

At the time discipline isn't much fun. It always feel like it's going against the grain. Later, of course, it pays off handsomely, for it's the well- trained who find themselves mature in their relationship with God.

Heb. 12:5-11 (MSG)

June 2, 2015

I love the Lord because He hears my voice, and my prayer for mercy. Because He bends down to listen. I will pray as long as I have breath! Death wrapped its ropes around me; the terror of the grave overtook me. I saw only trouble and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the Lord; Please Lord, save me! How kind the Lord is! How good He is! So merciful, this God of ours! The Lord protects those of CHILDLIKE faith;

I was facing death, and He saved me. Let my soul be at rest again for the Lord has been good to me. He saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. And so I walk in the Lord's presence as I live here on earth! I believed in You, so I said, "I am deeply troubled Lord." In my anxiety I cried out to you, "These people are all liars!" What can I offer the Lord for all He has done for me?

I will lift up the cup of salvation and praise the Lord's name for saving me. I will keep my promises to the Lord in the presence of all His people. The Lord cares deeply when His loved ones die. O Lord, I am Your servant; yes, I am Your servant born into Your household; You have freed me from my chains. I will offer You a sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the Lord. I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all His people-- in the house of the Lord in the heart of Jerusalem. Praise the Lord!

Psalms 116 (NLT)

June 1, 2015

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

James 1:2-4 (NLT)

May 28, 2015

"His Lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.'"

Matt. 25:21 (NKJV)

May, 26, 2015

I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to  this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Rom 12:1-2 (NKJV)

May 25, 2015

Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth; fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath is coming upon the sons of DISOBEDIENCE, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds.

Therefore, as the ELECT of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, long-suffering; bearing with one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also MUST do. But above all these things put on LOVE, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be THANKFUL. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

And WHATEVER you do in Word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Col. 3:5-9,12-17 (NKJV)

May 22, 2015

Don't be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don't look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others too.
You must have have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
Though He was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling.
Instead, He gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position of a slave and born as a human being.
When He appeared in human form, He humbled Himself in obedience to God and died a criminal's death on a cross.

Phil. 2:3-8 (NLT)

May 21, 2015

Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression. But a good word makes it glad.

So...

Be anxious for NOTHING, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God; and (then) the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Pro. 12:25 (NKJV)
Phil. 4:6-7 (emphasis added)

May 20, 2015

Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother HAS SOMETHING AGAINST YOU, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and come and offer your gift.

Matt. 5:23-24 (NKJV)

May 19, 2015

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.

Amen

Eph. 3:14-21 (NKJV)

May 15, 2015

How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. With my whole heart I sought You; Oh, let me not wander from your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Blessed are You, O Lord! Teach me Your statutes.

Psa. 119:9-12 (NKJV)

May 14, 2015

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Phil. 2:9-11 (NKJV)

May 13, 2015

Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
The Lord sat enthroned at the flood, and the Lord sits as King forever.
The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace.

Psa. 29:1,2,10,11 (NKJV)

May 12, 2015

And through your faith, God is protecting you by His power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see. So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold, though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

You love Him even though you have never seen Him. Though you do not see Him now, you trust Him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting Him will be the salvation of your souls. This salvation was something even the prophets wanted to know more about when they prophesied about the gracious salvation prepared for you.

1 Pet. 1:5-10 (NLT)

May 11, 2015

He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.

Psalms 103:10-14 (NKJV)

May 6, 2015

The righteous cry out, and  the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Psalms 34:17-19 (NKJV)

May 5, 2015

This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. "The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore I hope in Him!" The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.

Lam. 3:21-25 (NKJV)

May 4, 2015

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free.
The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?
Yes, the Lord is for me He will help me. I will look in triumph at those who hate me.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people.
My enemies did their best to kill me, but the Lord rescued me.
The Lord is My Strength and my Song; He has given me victory.
Songs of joy and victory are sung in the camp of the godly. The strong right arm of the Lord has done glorious things!
I WILL NOT DIE; INSTEAD, I WILL LIVE TO TELL WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE.
Open for me the gates where the righteous enter, and I will go in and thank the Lord, and the godly enter there.
I thank You for answering my prayer and giving me victory!
You are my God, and I will praise You!
You are my God, and I will exalt You!
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
His faithful love endures forever.

Psalms 118: 1,5-8,13-15,17,19-21,26,28-29 (NLT)

May 1, 2015

When you go through deep waters, I WILL BE WITH YOU. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you WILL NOT DROWN. When you walk through the fire of oppression, YOU WILL NOT BE BURNED UP; THE FLAMES WILL NOT CONSUME YOU.

"But you are My witnesses, O Israel!" says the Lord.
"You are My servant.
You have been chosen to know Me, believe in Me, and understand that I ALONE AM GOD.
THERE IS NO OTHER GOD THERE NEVER HAS BEEN AND THERE NEVER WILL BE.
I, yes I, am the Lord and there is NO OTHER SAVIOR.

"I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

Isa 43:2, 10-11 (NLT), Rev 3:8 (NKJV)

Apr. 30, 2015

"That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don't work or make clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? So don't worry about these things, saying, 'What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?' These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs."

"SEEK THE KINGDOM OF GOD ABOVE ALL ELSE, AND LIVE RIGHTEOUSLY, AND hE WILL GIVE YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED. SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW, FOR TOMORROW WILL BRING ITS OWN WORRIES. TODAY'S TROUBLE IS ENOUGH FOR TODAY."

Matt. 6:25-34 (NLT)

Apr. 29, 2015

When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land. NOW MY EYES WILL BE OPEN AND MY EARS ATTENTIVE TO PRAYER MADE IN THIS PLACE.

2 Chr. 7:13-15

Apr. 28, 2015

And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart, , so they will obey my decrees and regulations. Then they will truly be my people, and I will their God.

Eze. 11:19-20 (NLT)

Apr. 27, 2015

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war accordinging to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

2 Cor. 10:4-5 (NKJV)

Apr. 23, 2015

All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for souls. For My yoke is easy and burden is light.

Matt. 11:27-30 (NKJV)

Apr. 22, 2015

And let us not be weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Gal. 6:9 (NKJV)

Apr. 21, 2015

And remember, when you are tempted, do not say, "God is tempting me." God is never tempted to do wrong, and He never tempts anyone else. Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.

James 1:13-15 (NLT)

Apr. 20, 2015

Then the Lord answered me and said;
"Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith."

Hab. 2:2-4 (NKJV)

Apr. 17, 2015

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous together.
More than to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold, Sweeter also than honey and the honey comb.
Moreover by them Your servant is warned, and in keeping them there is great reward.
Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.
Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins;
Let them not have dominion over me.
Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression.
Let the words of our mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

Psalms 19:7-14 (NKJV)

Apr. 16, 2015

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. The ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind  drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinner in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalms 1 (NKJV)

Apr. 15, 2015

"Now, therefore," says the Lord, "Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning." So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm.

Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, "Spare Your people, O Lord, and do not give Your heritage to reproach that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, 'Where is their God?'"

Joel 2:12-13,17 (NKJV)

Apr. 14, 2015

Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.

Psalms 51:6-9 (NKJV)

Apr. 13, 2015

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Phil 4:19 (NKJV)

Apr. 10, 2015

Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked...

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1 John 2:3-6,15-16 (NKJV)

Apr. 9, 2015

Then calling the crowd to join his disciples, He said, "If any of you wants to be My follower, you must turn your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow Me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for My sake and for the sake of the Good News you will save it.

Mark. 8:34-35 (NLT)

Apr. 8, 2015

Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

3 John 1:2

Apr. 7, 2015

Nevertheless I am continually with You;
You hold me by Your right hand.
You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterwards receive me to glory.
Whom have I in heaven but You?
And there is none upon the earth that I desire besides You.
My flesh and my heart fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
For indeed, those who are far from you shall perish;
You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry.
But it is good for me to draw near to God;
I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all Your works.

Psa. 73:23-28 (NKJV)

Apr. 6, 2015

The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us;...
May the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children.
May you be blessed by the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord's; But the earth He has given to the children of men. The dead do not praise the Lord, nor any who go down in silence, but we will bless the Lord from this time forth and forevermore.
Praise the Lord!

Psa. 115:12a,14-18

Apr. 3, 2015

Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to Your truth! Grant me purity of heart, that I may honor You. With all my heart I will praise You, O Lord my God. I will give glory to Your name forever, for Your love for me is very great. You have rescued me from the depths of death!

Psa. 86:11-13 (NLT)

But You, O Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, full of unfailing love and truth. Look down and have mercy on me. Give strength to your servant; yes, save me, for I am Your servant. Send me a sign of Your favor. Then those who hate me will be put to shame, for You, O Lord, help and comfort me.

Psa. 86:15-17 (NLT)

Apr. 2, 2015

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulders. And His name will be called; WONDERFUL COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE.

Isa. 9:6 (NKJV)

Apr. 1, 2015

My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, and my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.

Psalms 62:5-8 (NKJV)

Mar. 31, 2015

May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble;
May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
May He send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion;
May He remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice.
May He grant you according to your heart's desire, and fulfill all your purpose.
We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners!
May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright.
Save, Lord!
May the King answer us when we call.

Psalms 20 (NKJV)

Mar. 30, 2015

Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up you everlasting doors! And King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory!

Psalms 24:7-10 (NKJV)

Mar. 27, 2015

Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy and loving-kindness and teach me Your statues. I am Your servant; give me understanding (discernment and comprehension), that I may know (discern and be familiar with the character of) Your testimonies.

Psalm 119:124-125 (AMP)

But be doers of the Word (obey the message), and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves (into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth). for if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his (own) natural face in a mirror; for he thoughtfully observes himself, and then goes off and promptly forgets what he was like. But he who looks carefully into the faultless law, the (law) of liberty, and is faithful to it and perseveres in looking into it, being not a heedless listener who forgets but an active doer (who obeys), he shall be blessed in his doing (his life of obedience).

James 1:22-25 (AMP)

Mar. 26, 2015

I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Rom. 12:1-2 (NKJV)

Mar. 25, 2015

Have you command the morning since your days began, and caused the dawn to know its place, that it might take hold of the ends of the earth, and the wicked be shaken out of it?

Job 38:12-13 (NKJV)

Mar. 24, 2015

"Do remember the former things. Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and river in the desert."

Isa. 43:18-19 (NKJV)

Mar. 23, 2015

So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, 'Be removed and cast into the sea,' it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

Matt. 21-21-22 (NKJV)

Mar. 21, 2015

Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of ) the (action of His) power that is at work within us, is able to (carry out His purpose and) do super-abundantly, far above all that we (dare) ask or think (infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams). To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).

Eph 3:20-21 (AMP)

Mar. 20, 2015

Do not seek revenge or hold a grudge against any of your people. Instead, love your neighbor as you love yourself, for I am the Eternal One.

Lev. 19:18 (THE VOICE)

Mar. 19, 2015

Through faith, God's power is standing watch, protecting you for a salvation that you will see completely at the end of things. You should greatly rejoice in what is waiting for you, even if now for a little while you have to suffer various trials. Suffering tests your faith which is more valuable than gold (remember that gold, although it is perishable, is tested by fire) so that if it is found genuine, you can receive praise, honor, and glory when Jesus the Anointed, our Liberating King, is revealed at last.

1 Pet. 1:5-7 (THE VOICE)

Mar. 18, 2015

O Eternal One, You have explored my heart and know exactly who I am; You even know the small details like when I take a seat and when I stand up again. Even when I am far away, You know what I'm thinking. You observe my wanderings and my sleeping, my waking and my dreaming, and You know everything I do in more detail than even I know. You know what I'm going to say long before I say it. It is true, Eternal One, that You know everything and everyone. You have surrounded me on every side, behind me and before me, and You have placed Your hand gently on my shoulder. It is the most amazing feeling to know how deeply You know me, inside out; the realization of it is so great that I cannot comprehend it.

Psalms 139:1-6 (THE VOICE)

Mar. 17, 2015

BUT NOW (in spite of past judgments for Israel's sins), thus says the Lord, He created you, O Jacob, and He Who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you (ransomed you by paying a price instead of leaving you captives); I have called you by your name; you are Mine.  When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.

Isa. 43:1-2 (AMP)

Mar. 16, 2015

Therefore, if anyone is united with the Anointed One, that person is a new creation. The old life is gone and see a new life has begun! All of this is a gift from our Creator God, who has pursued us and brought us into a restored and healthy relationship with Him through the Anointed. And He has given us the same mission, the ministry of reconciliation, to bring others back to Him. It is central to our good news that God was in Anointed making things right between Himself and the world. This means He does not hold their sins against them. But it also means He charges us to proclaim the message that heals and restores our broken relationships with God and each other. So we are now representatives of the Anointed One, the Liberating King; God has given us a charge to carry through our lives urging all people on behalf of the Anointed to become reconciled to the Creator God. He orchestrated this: the Anointed One, who had never experienced sin, became sin for us so that in Him we might embody the very righteousness of God.

2 Cor. 5:17-21 (THE VOICE)

Mar. 15, 2015

Finally, brothers and sisters, draw your strength and might from God. Put on the full armor of God to protect yourselves from the devil and his evil schemes. We're not waging war against enemies of flesh and blood alone. No, this fight is against supernatural powers and demon princes that slither in the darkness of this world, and against wicked spiritual armies that lurk about in heavenly places.

Eph. 6:10-12 (THE VOICE)

Mar. 14, 2015

Now that you have welcomed the Anointed One, Jesus the Lord; into your lives, continue to journey with Him and allow Him to shape your lives. Let your roots grow down deeply in Him, and let Him build you up on a firm foundation. Be strong in the faith, just as you were taught, and always spill over with thankfulness. Make sure no predator makes you prey through some misleading philosophy and empty deception based on traditions fabricated by mere mortals. These are sourced in the elementary principles originating in this world and not in the Anointed One (so don't let their talks capture you).

Col. 2:6-8 (THE VOICE)

Mar. 13, 2015

You were once at odds with God, wicked in your ways and evil in your minds; but not He has reconciled you in His body in His flesh through His death, so that He can present you to God holy, blameless, and totally free of imperfection AS LONG AS YOU STAY PLANTED IN THE FAITH. So don't venture away from what you have heard and taken to heart...

Col. 1:21-23a (THE VOICE)

Mar. 12, 2015

So imitate God. Follow Him like adorned children, and live in love as the Anointed One loved you so much that gave Himself as a fragrant sacrifice, pleasing God. Listen, don't let any kind of immorality be breathed among you. Any demoralizing behaviors (perverse sexual acts, uncleanliness, greediness, and the like) are inappropriate topics of conversation for those set apart as God's people. Don't swear or spurt nonsense. Don't make harsh jokes or clown around. Make proper use of your words, and offer them thankfully in praise. This is what we know for certain: no one who engages in loose sex, impure actions, and greed which is just a form of idolatry has any inheritance in the kingdom of God and His Anointed.

Eph. 5:1-5 (THE VOICE)

Mar. 11, 2015

Don't run from tests and hardships, brothers and sisters. As difficult as they are, you will ultimately find joy in them; if you embrace them, your faith will blossom under pressure and teach you true patience as you endure. And true patience brought on by endurance will equip you to complete the long journey and cross the finish line mature, complete, and wanting nothing. If this you don't have all the wisdom needed for this journey, then all you have to do is ask God for it; and God will grant all that you need. He gives lavishly and never scolds you for asking.

James 1:1-5 (THE VOICE)

March 10, 2015

Fear not (there is nothing to fear), for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My (victorious) right hand of rightness and justice...For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord Who says to you fear not; I will help you!

Isa. 41:10,13 (AMP)

March 9, 2015

DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me. In My Father's house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you. And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also. And (to the place) where I am going, you know the way.

John 14:1-4 (AMP)

Mar. 6, 2015

But I say, walk and live (habitually) in the (Holy) Spirit, (responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit) then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).

Gal. 5:16 (AMP)

Mar. 5 2015

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil to give you an expected end.

Jer. 29:11 (KJV)

Mar. 4, 2015

Bless (AFFECTIONATELY gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is deepest within me, bless His holy name! Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and for get not (one of) all His benefits. Who forgives (every one of ) all your iniquities, Who heals (each one of) all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your mouth (your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation) with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle's (strong, overcoming, soaring)!

Psalms 103:1-5 (AMP)

Mar. 3, 2015

How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed and keeping watch (on himself) according to Your word (conforming his life to it). With my whole heart have I sought You, inquiring for and of You and yearning for You; Oh, let me not wander or step aside (either in ignorance or willfully) from Your commandments. Your word have i laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Blessed are You, O Lord; teach me Your statutes.

Psalms 119:9-12 (AMP)

Mar. 2, 2015

If you live in Me (abide vitally united to Me) and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.

John 15:7-8 (AMP)

Feb. 27, 2015

This is from the Lord and is His doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Save now, we beseech You, O Lord; send now prosperity, O Lord, we beseech You, and give us success! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; we bless you from the house of the Lord (you who come into His sanctuary under His guardianship)...You are my God, and I will confess, praise, and give thanks to You; You are my God, I will extol You. O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good for His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever.

Psalms 118:23-26,28,29 (AMP)

Feb. 26, 2015

Out of my distress I called upon the Lord, the Lord answered me and set me free and in a large place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? The Lord is on my side and takes my part. He is among those who help me; therefore shall I see my desire established upon those who hate me. It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Psalms 118:5-8 (AMP)

Feb 25, 2015

So then, my brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

James 1:19-20 (NKJV)

Feb 24, 2015

And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: (we are sure) that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. And if (since) we (positively) know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know (with settled and absolute knowledge) that we have (granted us as our present possessions) the requests made of Him.

1 John 5:14-15 (AMP)

Feb 23, 2015

When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces; some a hundred, some sixty, some thirty.

Matt 13:19-23 (NKJV)

Feb. 20, 2015

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them. Oh taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.

Psalms 34:7-9 (NKJV)

Feb. 19, 2015

When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me. Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. Do not deliver me to the will of adversaries...I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; be of good of courage and He shall strengthen your heart;
WAIT, I SAY, ON THE LORD!

Psalms 27:10-12a,13-14 (NKJV)

Feb. 18, 2015

If I could speak in any language in heaven or on earth, but didn't love others, I would only be making meaningless noise like a loud gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I knew all the mysteries of the future and knew everything about everything, but didn't love others what good would I be? And if I had the gift of faith so that I could speak to a mountain and make it move, without love I would be no good to anybody. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body. I could boast about it; but if I didn't love others, I would be of no value whatsoever.
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, or boasting, or proud, or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

1 Cor. 13:1-7 (NLT)

Feb. 17 2015

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall be any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.

Luke 10:19-20 (NKJV)

Feb. 16, 2015

Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost? For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father's and of the holy angels."

Luke 9:23-26 (NKJV)

Feb 13, 2015

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. I and My Father are one.

John 10:27-30 (NKJV)

Feb 12, 2015

Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.

John 14:1-4 (NKJV)

Feb 11, 2015 s

How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. Keep Your servant from deliberate sins! Don't let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to You O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Psalms 19:12-14 (NLT)
Feb 10, 2015

If you live in Me (abide vitally united to Me) and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. When you bear ( produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine. I have loved you, (just) as the Father has loved Me; abide in My love (continue in His love with Me). If you keep My commandments (if you continue to obey My instructions), you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father's commandments and live on in His love.

John 15:7-10 (AMP)

Feb 9, 2015

Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it.

Matthew 7:13-14 (AMP)

Fri 6 Feb 2015

But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.

Luke 6:35-36 (NKJV)

Thurs 5 Feb 2015

"Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are you ways My ways,"says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts."

Isaiah 55:6-9 (NKJV)

Wed 4 Feb 2015

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21 (NKJV)

Tues 3 Feb 2015

"For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

Hebrews 4:15-16 (NKJV)

Mon 2 Feb 2015

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified these He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:28-31 (NKJV)

Sun 1 Feb 2015

The book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Joshua 1:8-9 (NKJV)

Sat 31 Jan 2015

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress. And let us run with endurance that race that God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish. He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy He knew would be His afterward. Now He is seated in the place of the highest honor beside God's throne in heaven. Think about all He endured when sinful people did such terrible things to Him, so that you don't become weary and give up.

Hebrew 12:1-3 (NLT)

Fri 30 Jan 2015

God blesses those who are persecuted because they live for God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. God blesses you when you are mocked and persecuted and lied about because you are My followers. Be happy about it! Be very glad! For great rewards awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted too.

Matthew 5:10-12 (NLT)

Thurs 29 Jan 2015

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing shall separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Roman 8:35-39 (NKJV)

Weds 28 Jan 2015

"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me to lie down in green pastures
He leads me beside the still waters
He restores my soul
He leads me in the path of righteousness for His name's sake
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I will fear no evil
For You are with me
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies
You anoint my head with oil
My cup runs over
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever"

Ps. 23 (NKJV)

Tues 27 Jan 2015

"This command I am giving you today is not too difficult for you, and it is not beyond your reach. It is not kept in heaven, so distant that you must ask, "Who will go up to heaven and bring it down so we can hear it and obey?" It is not kept beyond the sea, so far away that you must ask, "Who will cross the sea to bring it to us so we can hear it and obey?" No the message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart so that you can obey it. Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster. For I command you this day to love the Lord you God and keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in His ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy."

Deu. 30:11-16 (NLT)

Ps. 115:14-15 (NKJV)

Weds, 21 Jan 2015

"This is what the Lord, Israel's King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty says; I am the First and the Last; there is no other God. Who else can tell you what is going to happen in the days ahead ?...Do not tremble; do not be afraid. Have I not proclaimed from ages past what my purposes are for you? You are My witness is there any other God? No! There is no other Rock not one!"
