GOD IS our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.
Psalms 46:1
The statement, "GOD IS" is so broad for a number of reasons. Simply put, GOD IS EVERYTHING!
God is or Refuge
God is our Strength
God is our Rock
God is our Provider
God is our Sustainer
God is our Keeper
God is our Healer
God is our Deliverer
God is our Fortress
God is our Peace
I think I can speak for everyone when I say GOD IS GOOD!!!

"The Lord will fight for you while you (only need to) keep silent and remain calm."
Exo. 14:14 (AMP)
This scripture has gotten me through many hard nights. I've found that when we face circumstances and situations that we are totally helpless in our own strength all is not lost. The good news is, though we are helpless, we have a Helper. God is always willing to help us, and not only is He willing to help us, He is willing to fight for us. Whatever you may be experiencing right now, before you close those beautiful eyes of yours, meditate on the fact that you have muscle behind you that the enemy can't mess with. All you have to do is hold your peace and LET the Lord fight for you. Go to sleep knowing that everything is going to work out. You may not see how, what, or when, but know that God has a plan and in that plan you will always be on the winning side.
Have a blessed night!

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me.
Says the Lord.
Isa. 54:17 (NKJV)
Beloved let this verse encourage your hearts on tonight. Find peace in this rhema word because you can rest assure if God said it then that settles it. No matter what weapon has formed against you, God promised us that it would not prosper. Why? Because this is our heritage, and we are the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ. We can get good sleep meditating on this promise. So, before you close those eyes tonight bless the Lord for keeping His promise to you. Bless Him for being your protection. Bless Him for being the same God who brought you out before, and bless Him for being the same God that can and will bring you out now.
DECLARE THIS WITH ME: NO WEAPON THAT HAS BEEN FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER IN JESUS NAME!
Amen

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in ALL POINTS tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Heb. 4:14:15 (NKJV)
People of God these are some of my favorite scriptures to meditate on. I love the fact that we can tell our Lord anything and He can relate to us. We don't have a God Who hasn't experienced being rejected. We don't have a God that hasn't experienced abandonment, nor do we have a God that hasn't experienced mourning. Jesus, our High Priest was tempted to doubt, He was tempted to worry, and give up. He was faced with every temptation, yet He did not sin. Saints I encourage to you tell Him whatever is heavy on your hearts on tonight. He understands because He feels your hurt. He will comfort you and have compassion for you. Just give it to Him. Talk to Him!
HE'S WAITING!!!

Oh, what joy for those whose rebellion is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!
Psalms 32:1-2 (NLT)
It is truly a blessing to know that we serve a God Who is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Take a minute and reflect on what you used to do, and who you used to be. With all of the nasty and dirty things that we've done in our past it is refreshing to know He doesn't hold one of those things against us. As a matter of fact the bible says He doesn't even remember them. Oh what joy it is to serve a God who knows all of our failures, yet He still loves and keeps us the way that He does. There is absolutely nobody like our God! Before you go to sleep tonight bless the Lord for not holding your past against you. Remember that if any man be in Christ he is a new creature; old things have past away behold all things have become new.
AS YOU HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN...FORGIVE!
REST WELL BELOVED OF GOD!!!

Those who are willing to OBEY!
Those who are willing to TAKE UP THEIR CROSS AND FOLLOW HIM!
Those who are willing to SUFFER FOR HIS NAME SAKE!
Those who are willing to be BROKEN!
Those who are willing to HUMBLE THEMSELVES!
Those who are willing to SACRIFICE!
These are the ones that catches the eye of God.
The question we need to ask ourselves is, "Are we one of THOSE?

"And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses."
Mark 11:25-26 (NKJV)
People of God this is a very important principle we must learn. In this life we will be hurt, misused, abused, and mistreated. But we are NEVER justified in holding on to the offense. To be honest it takes more energy to hold on to the offense than it does to let it go. We are not forgiving the person to get them off the hook, but we are forgiving to be free. Look at it this way, when you walk in un forgiveness it's like you drinking the poison, but expecting the person who hurt you to die. In the end you will only end up hurting yourself. And the most important principle to learn is if we want to be forgiven than you MUST forgive. We can't expect God to pardon our sins when we refuse to pardon the sins of others. The bible says love covers a multitude of sin, so I encourage you on tonight before you close those beautiful eyes of yours release EVERYONE who has hurt you. I understand that they hurt you and it's hard for you to let it go, but this is where the grace of God comes in. Remember His strength is made perfect in your weakness.

"Behold the days are coming," says the Lord God. "That I will send a famine on the land. Not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord."
Amos 8:11 (NKJV)
Tonight during bible study I asked the people a question. I said, "If every bible that you owed was destroyed, and every other thing that you have access to reading the Word of God was destroyed do you have enough in you to sustain you? What if you never heard another sermon again; will you have enough in You to sustain you? "Beloved this is the time like never before to seek the Lord with our whole hearts. We've seen dark times, but the times will get darker and the faith that we have in God's promises is going to be the only thing that keeps us. Those of us who doesn't take this seriously will fall by the wayside and lose heart. The bible says, "I would have lost heart unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living." My question that I submit tonight is, how can you believe in something or someone that you scarcely know? How can we declare and decree that which we have no knowledge of? People of God I pray that we get to a place where we will LOVE to study the Word of God, and not only study it, but live by it, and believe it.
We know Him through His word.
Father in Jesus name bring us back to that place where we first fell in love with You. Forgive us for not spending time with You as we should. Help us to do what is required of us and we will forever be grateful to You in the name of Jesus! Amen
Jan. 22, 2018
Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.
James 1:14-15 (NLT)
We are warned not to allow ourselves to become hardened, because if we look at the whole concept of hardening in its biblical perspective, we see that something happens to us through repeated sins. Our consciences become seared. The more we commit a particular sin, the less remorse we feel from it. Our hearts become resistant through REPEATED disobedience. When God hardens the heart, all He does is step away and stop striving with us. For example, the first time I commit a particular sin, my conscience bothers me. In His grace, God is convicting me of that evil. God is intruding into my life, trying to persuade me to stop this wickedness. The hardening of my heart begins when He stops rebuking me, nudging me, then He just gives me enough rope to hang myself.
People of God don't allow this to happen, never despise the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Don't let this be your portion. We can't afford for the Lord to turn us over to ourselves. Before you go to sleep tonight pray this prayer...
"Father in Jesus name I repent for allowing my heart to become hardened. I need for You to search me and know my hearts try me and know my thoughts, and see if there is any wicked way in me and lead me in the way of everlasting."
AMEN
Jan. 21, 2018
Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and so not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Psalms 51:10-11 (NKJV)
This is a verse that I pray daily, the fact of the matter is our hearts are deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, and in order to have the mind of Christ we must first be given His heart. Before you lay down tonight let this be your prayer. Ask the Father for forgiveness of sins that you know of and that you don't know of. Then ask Him to create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you, so that you can be free to worship. The bible says, "If I regard iniquity in my heart the Lord will not hear me." So when our hearts are dirty and full of evil we cannot hear God or be heard by God unless we repent.
REMEMBER ONLY THE PURE IN HEART SHALL SEE GOD!

Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Psalms 126:5-6 (NKJV)
Beloved I want to encourage you tonight by assuring you that nothing is lost in the kingdom of God. This goes for our tears as well. Every tear that you have sown the bible says there is a day when we will reap joy. Sometimes life can hit us so hard that we can't utter a word. All we can do is cry, I call this "liquid intercession." In those times God hears the cry of our hearts. We serve a God that HEAR every tear that fall from our eyes, so before you lay down tonight thank the Lord for hearing even when we can't speak. And bless His name for the joy that you will receive in the morning!
REST WELL BELOVED OF GOD!
Jan. 16, 2018
O give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known His doings among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; meditate on and talk of all His wondrous works and devoutly praise them! Glory in His name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord! Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually!
1 Chr. 16:8-11 (AMP)
QUICKLY STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING RIGHT NOW AND GIVE GOD THE PRAISE! GIVE HIM GLORY FOR ALL THAT HE HAS DONE! BLESS HIS HOLY NAME FOR BEING WHO HE IS TO YOU! WHATEVER YOU MAY BE FACING RIGHT NOW WORSHIP YOUR WAY THROUGH IT! WE WORSHIP GOD BECAUSE OF WHO HE IS, AND HE IS THE LOVER OF OUR SOULS AND SO MUCH MORE. BEFORE YOU LAY DOWN ON TONIGHT GIVE GOD THE PRAISE THAT IS DUE TO HIM!
TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR ALL THAT HE HAS DONE!
REST WELL ZION!

Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Psalms 119:105 (NKJV)
People of God know that everything that you need is in the Word of God. Every decision, every direction, every answer you need it's in the bible. All you have to do is take the first step and open it up. Before you lay down on tonight read a scripture or two, and thank God for His Word that brings us comfort when we need it. It brings us correction when we need it. It lifts us up when we need. MY GOD, I JUST LOVE THE WORD OF GOD! Don't let another day go by without opening up the book that will change your life forever!
REMEMBER THE LORD HONOR HIS WORD ABOVE HIS VERY NAME!
REST WELL ZION!
Mar. 24, 2015
But without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must (necessarily) believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him (out).
Heb. 11:6 (AMP)
Beloved, there is absolutely nothing that makes God heart feel better then knowing that His children trust and believe Him. When you come to a place where you can truly stand on the Word of God no matter what you might be going through God has no other choice but to move. God wants you to take the Word, claim the Word, and believe the Word. Do not turn to the left, nor to the right, but believe God. He wants to rid our hearts of all unbelief. He wants us to dare to believe His Word. If you allow anything to come between you and His Word, it will poison your entire system, and this is where you are left with no hope. The Word of Life is the breath of heaven, the life giving power by which you are changed. By the Word we begin to take on the very image of God.
THERE IS A REWARD WAITING WHEN YOU DILIGENTLY SEEK THE FACE OF GOD!
SO BELIEVE GOD!!!
REST WELL ZION!
Mar. 23, 2015
Pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thes. 5:17-18 (NKJV)
People of God this is the most important principle that we should follow in life. Through everything that we encounter prayer is in order. Through every decision we need to make prayer is in order. IN EVERYTHING PRAYER IS IN ORDER! Before you lay down tonight make sure you PRAY!
REMEMBER GOD DOES NOTHING IN THE EARTH OUTSIDE OF PRAYER!
REST WELL BELOVED OF GOD!
Mar. 20,2015
But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed.
Acts 16:25-26 (NKJV)
Most of us are familiar with this account of the bible, and there are a lot of things that come to me as I read this passage of scripture, but one thing stands out above all else. "AT MIDNIGHT"...this sticks out to me more now than it ever has before. I believe the Lord allowed us to know the time because midnight is the darkest time of the night. Paul and Silas had just gotten beaten and locked up for the sake of the gospel, and yes this was a very bad thing to experience, yet the bible says they were praying and singing hymns to God. This was a dark time for them, but they still choose to praise God inspite of it all, and something happened because of their praise. The bible says their praise shook the foundation of the prison and loosed them from their chains. People of God this is just how powerful our praise is. The devil hates when the saints begin to praise God especially when it seems that he has thrown everything he was allowed to throw. Before you lay down on tonight, ponder on this... YOUR PRAISE WILL LOOSE YOU! Get a praise in your spirit and remember that God is still worthy in spite of what we go through. Use this dark time in your life as a stepping stone to cause you to go higher in Him.
EXCHANGE THE SPIRIT OF HEAVINESS FOR THE GARMENT OF PRAISE!
REST WELL BELOVED OF GOD!
Mar. 18, 2015
Since you are all set apart by God, made holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with a holy way of life; compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Put up with one another. Forgive, pardon any offenses against one another, as the Lord has pardoned you, because you should act in kind. But above all these, put on love! Love is the perfect tie to bind these together.
Col. 3:12-14 (THE VOICE)
People of God unforgiveness is a very miserable place to be. When we make the choice not to forgive its like drinking poison, and expecting someone else to die. God did not create us for that purpose. And I know it's an old saying, but we could never expect God to forgive us when we refuse to forgive others. Forgiving someone who has wronged you does not excuse what they did, but it releases the control that they have over you. Also forgiveness is not the same as reconciliation because it takes two people to reconcile, while it only take one to forgive. Make the choice tonight before you close your eyes ask God for the grace to forgive all those who have done you wrong. Ask Him to help you to love others as He has loved you.
NO ONE IS WORTH YOUR SALVATION!
REST WELL BELOVED GOD!
Mar. 16, 2015
For I know the plans I have for you says the Eternal, plans for peace, not evil, to give you a future and hope, NEVER FORGET THAT!
Jer. 29:11 (THE VOICE)
This is just another one of God's promises that He will keep concerning you. Before the foundation of the world the plans for your life were already drawn out, and they were not evil, but good. They were plans to give you hope not despair. Every single thing that you have gone through thus far was the tool God used to make you who you are today. The bible says, "All things work together for the good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose." Believe this truth on tonight. Before you go to sleep begin to thank the the Lord for where He has brought you from. Bless God for His good plans for you. No you may not understand why things have happened the way that they happened, but no know it all of it is working out for your good. Be encouraged and start thanking God for being a Keeper!
AMEN!
SLEEP WELL BELOVED OF GOD!
Mar. 15, 2015
The weight of worry drugs us down, but a good word lightens our day.
Pro. 12:25 (THE VOICE)
God never intended for us to worry, in fact worrying is a sin because it is impossible to have faith and worry at the same time. Before you lay down on tonight place on your worries and fears on the altar. Place them at the feet of Jesus, for He has given you an invitation to cast all of your cares upon Him. Why? Because He cares for you. Know that there is NOTHING that we go through that catches God by surprise. There is NOTHING that we go through that God can't help us with. There is this saying that goes something like this, "If you gone worry then don't pray, but if you pray then don't worry." Let that phrase get in your spirit on tonight and bless God that this too shall pass in Jesus name!
Amen
REST IN THE PEACE OF GOD BELOVED!
Mar. 14, 2015
O my soul, come, praise the Eternal with all that is in me; body, emotions, mind, and will every part of who I am-praise His holy name. O my soul, come, praise the Eternal; sing a song from a grateful heart; sing and never forget all the good He has done. Despite all your many offenses, He forgives and release you. More than any doctor, He heals your diseases. He reaches deep into the pit to deliver you from death. He crowns you with unfailing love and compassion like a king. When your soul is famished and withering, He fills you with good and beautiful things, satisfying you as long as you live. He makes you strong like an eagle restoring your youth.
Ps. 103:1-5 (THE VOICE)
People of God do you see this? Do you see the benefits we have? God is so good to us, and there is not one trial or tribulation that will change Who He is to His people. Before you close those beautiful eyes for the night meditate on the benefits that we have being apart of God's family. We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. What more can we ask for? Everything has been given to us through our Savior. We are partakers of forgiveness, healing, deliverance, unfailing love, and compassion. Bless the Lord on tonight and remember not to forget His benefits.
SLEEP WELL BELOVED OF GOD!!!
Mar. 12, 2015
When he has brought his own sheep outside, he walks on before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. They will never (on any account) follow a stranger, but will run away from him because they do not know the voice of strangers or recognize their call.
John 10:4-5 (AMP)
Most people get offended at the thought of being called a sheep, because sheeps are not the brightest animals, nor are they smart enough to live on their own. Sheep need a shepherd to care for them and look out for them. The truth of the matter is we are like unto sheep and Jesus is our Shepherd, and He desires to lead us. The bible says, "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want." A good shepherd makes sure the needs of his flock is met. A good shepherd protects his sheep. A good shepherd disciplines his sheep. Jesus is our good Shepherd, and He does all of those things for us. We are compared to sheep because we need to be lead as well. When sheep don't have a Shepherd they become easy prey for the wolves or any other thing that comes to devour. As sheep we should know the voice of our Shepherd, and we should run away from all voices that comes to lead us astray. Before you lay down for the night meditate on how good your Shepherd has been to you. Meditate on how He leads you beside the still waters , and He restores your soul. Meditate on how He leads you in a path of righteousness for His name sake, and even though you may walk through the valley of the shadow of death; meditate on the fact that He your Shepherd is with you.
MEDITATE ON THE GOOD SHEPHERD TONIGHT!
REST WELL BELOVED OF GOD!!
Mar. 11, 2015
The key is that your request be anchored by your single-minded commitment to God. Those who depend only on their own judgment are like those lost on the seas, carried away by any wave or picked up by any wind. Those adrift on their own wisdom shouldn't assume the Lord will rescue them or bring them anything. The splinter of divided loyalty shatters your compass and leaves you dizzy and confused.
James 1:6-8 (THE VOICE)
People of God when you set your heart to pray make sure that you believe that God is willing and able to do what you have asked for. We can't waver, nor can we be shaky when it comes to our faith. People who operate this way is what the bible calls double minded and unstable and as we see from the scripture they cannot expect anything from the Lord. Before you lay down on tonight ask God to help your unbelief, repent for following your own way, and reaffirm your faith in the Lord because after all it is IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD WITHOUT FAITH!
IT IS YOUR FAITH THAT MOVES THE HAND OF GOD!
SLEEP WELL BELOVED OF THE LORD!
Mar. 10, 2015
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved; for thou art my praise.
Jer. 17:14 (KJV)
With all of these different viruses going around, it's easy for fear to set in and cause us to doubt the healing power of Jehovah Rapha. If you are not feeling well or you have love ones that are not feeling well; remember we serve a God whose name is Jehovah Rapha which is translated as the God who heals. He can and is able to heal us of all diseases. We can declare His Word over our lives and expect Him to move. Why? Because His Word will not return back to Him void. Before you lay down for the night anoint yourself and declare His Word over your situation then give Him praise for it being done in Jesus name!
JUST A REMINDER:
GOD IS FAITHFUL!
REST WELL BELOVED OF GOD!
Mar. 9, 2015
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
There are a lot of us who in the process of waiting for a promise to come to pass have grown weary. And it seems like through the waiting process we get weaker and weaker and that's when the temptation to throw in the towel tries to overtake us. Here in this verse God makes a promise to all those who are willing to wait on Him. I believe this verse speaks loudly to us today, for He knew that there would be times when we would feel like we have given everything we have with little strength left, but if you can just wait on the Lord, He said your strength will be renewed, you will mount up with wings as the eagle, you will run and not be weary, and you will walk and not faint. Before you call it a night, make the decision that you will wait on the Lord. Make the decision that now matter how long it takes you will continue on because our God has never made a promise that He is not willing to keep.
WAIT ON THE LORD I SAY JUST WAIT ON THE LORD!
REST WELL BELOVED OF GOD!
Mar. 6, 2015
My hands also will I lift up (in fervent supplication) to Your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on Your statutes. Remember (fervently) the word and promise to Your servant, in which You have caused me to hope. This is my comfort and consolation in my affliction; that Your word has revived me and given me life.
Psalms 119:48-50 (AMP)
These set of scriptures when read and received will bring so much comfort. Many of us are going through trying times, but just like the psalmist saw fit to ask God to remember the word and promise that He made, so can we. God has promised us things that we have not yet seen the manifestation of, and sometimes it could seem that things are not moving in our favor. But I encourage you all to place hope in the Word. Take comfort on tonight in the fact that we don't serve a God who is a liar. EVERY word that comes forth from the month of God will come to pass. Hope in His word, hope in His promises, and hope in Him.
YOU PRAYED ABOUT IT NOW THANK GOD FOR IT!
REST WELL BELOVED
Mar. 4, 2015
For whom the Lord loves He corrects, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.
Pro. 3:12 (AMP)
If you are anything like me you hate the very thought of being chastised, but anyone who has been walking with God for some time knows that in that moment it doesn't feel good, but in the end we know that it is for our good. Before you lay down tonight thank the Lord for the chasten that He gives us because when He chastens us that means we belong to Him. He loves those He chasten, so don't get discouraged, instead learn from and know that you will be better because if it.
REST WELL BELOVED OF GOD!
Mar. 3, 2015
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
Psalms 46:10 (NKJV)
This verse has kept me a many of nights when I couldn't see my way through. There were times when I was tempted to take matters into my own hands, and it was right when I was at the break of no return I would hear the Lord's small still voice saying to me, "Daughter be still and know that I am God, and I will be exalted above this. People of God I encourage you to take God at His word. He is very aware of all that we go through, and He has the solution to every problem, so before you take matters into your own hands listen to the voice of the Lord.
BE STILL, AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD!
GOOD NIGHT PRECIOUS VESSELS OF HONOR!
Mar. 2, 2015
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.
Pro. 3:5-6 (AMP)
Isn't it funny how the verse tells us to, "Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart AND mind..." People of God in order for the the mind to be renewed the heart has to be fixed first. Many of us are carrying things in our hearts that are not conducive to the Word of God therefore it makes it hard for us to lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord. Before You lay down tonight take inventory of your heart. Ask God to create in you a clean heart, so that His Word can abide there. Remember light and darkness can not reside in the same place at the same time, so choose to allow the light of God's Word to fill your hearts. The mind has to line up when the heart is right.
REST IN THE LORD BELOVED!
Feb. 27, 2015
Be still and rest in the Lord...
Psalms 37:7a (AMP)
End this day resting in the Lord, whatever transpired doing the early part of the day this is your opportunity to lay it at the feet of Jesus and rest. Give Him your cares; give Him your burdens. You were not created to carry these burdens, so lay it down and rest. Rest in the bosom of the Lord on tonight and know that He has everything under control.
REST IN HIS ARMS!
Feb. 26, 2015
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me Your mercy and lovingkindness, O Lord, endure forever forsake not the works of Your own hands.
Psalms 138:8 (AMP)
Here is something to meditate on while you lay on your pillows on tonight. Rest assure that God is not done with you yet. He is perfecting those things that concern you. You may have had a challenging day where you said some things, or did some things that you know in your heart was wrong and displeasing to God, but the good thing is you are still here to repent and make it right with the Lord. The good thing is we serve a God Who is faithful even when we are not. The good thing is you cutting up does not change the fact that He loves you. So before you call it a night; make it right with the Lord. And be encouraged and have the confidence that He that has begun a good work in shall complete unto the day of Jesus Christ.
SLEEP WELL BELOVED OF GOD!
Feb. 25, 2015
From the rising of the sun to the going down of it and from east to west, the name of the Lord is to be praised!
Psalm 113:3 (AMP)
Whether it's the beginning of the day or the end of the day God is still yet worthy of all the praise. While You lay in your warm bed on tonight meditate on just how good God has been to you. Push back all of the negativity and fill your mind with the praises of the Lord. Regardless of what we go through in life He is STILL A GREAT GOD!
Rest well people of God!
Feb 24, 2015
And don't sin by letting anger control you. Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.
Eph. 4:26-27 (NLT)
Before you shut those beautiful eyes of yours examine yourself to make sure you're not going to sleep with anger in your hearts. At least come to a peaceable agreement before you go to sleep with whoever it is. As the scriptures says our anger gives place to the devil. Even if it means giving up your right to be right, the bible says to seek peace and pursue it. So let us take heed to the word of the Lord on tonight.
SLEEP WELL AND GET EXCITED FOR THE BRAND NEW MERCIES YOU WILL RECEIVE IN THE MORNING!
Feb 23, 2015
Do all things without complaining and disputing that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.
Phil. 2:14-15 (NKJV)
Here is something to ponder on before you call it a night...
The word of God is clear when it says, "DO ALL THINGS WITHOUT COMPLAINING." It's very easy to lose sight of the big picture, but if we really began to think things over we would truly find that all of our good days outweigh our bad days and we really have nothing to complain about. I encourage you on tonight before you close your eyes to first repent if you have been complaining then began to just thank the Lord for what He is doing right now. Yes things could be better, but things could also be a lot worse.
I WON'T COMPLAIN!

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning...Hear O Lord, and have mercy on me;Lord, be my helper! You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness. To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
Psalm 30:5,10-12 NKJV
Lay down tonight believing that your morning is here. The Lord asked me a question once. He said, "Shaquita what time does a new day start?" I said, "12 midnight." He said, " Yes and that is the darkest time of the morning, yet it's still morning." I've come to encourage someone tonight. It may be dark right now, but know that your morning has come. If you can only believe that He can turn your mourning into dancing and clothe you with gladness, while taking away the sackcloth; If you can only believe that this too shall pass; I believe you will rest in the peace that God has ordained for you. Go to sleep with an all is well in your spirit.
LEARN A LESSON FROM THE PALM TREE; THOUGH THE STORMS MAY COME AND THE WINDS MAY BLOW THE TREE TO MAY BEND, BUT BECAUSE IT IS DEEPLY ROOTED IT WON'T BREAK!
GET ROOTED IN GOD!

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart. and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
Psalms 34:17-19 (NKJV)
Before you lay down tonight meditate on the fact that whatever it is that you may be facing right now has an expiration date. The Lord is fully aware of all that you are going through right now and He is sending help. Even in times when we don't have the words to say, He hears the cry of our hearts. Take comfort people of God. Yes you may be afflicted right now, but the Word delivers a promise that He will deliver us out of them ALL!
HIS WORD WILL NOT RETURN BACK TO HIM VOID; IF HE SAID IT HE WILL DO IT!
Feb. 18, 2015
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
Rest assure that everything that you are going through right now God is just as concerned about it as you are. He has given us an invitation to bring everything to Him. He wants our burdens in exchange for His burden. He wants to take the heavy yoke of worry away from us to give us His yoke of rest. Enter into His rest on tonight and know that God is perfecting those things that concerns you.
GIVE WHATEVER IT IS TO THE LORD AND REST IN THE PRINCE OF PEACE!
Feb. 16, 2015
I lie awake thinking of you meditating on You through the night. Because You are my Helper, I sing for joy in the shadow of Your wings. I cling to You; Your strong right hand holds me securely.
Psalms 63:6-8 (NLT)
This set of scriptures gives us great comfort in knowing that the Lord is our Help and He holds us securely in His hands. When you lie down tonight instead of worrying about your situations and circumstances, think on the goodness of God. Meditate on the fact that regardless of what is not going right Jesus is still where our help comes from. Look to the hills from where your help comes from and know that your help comes from the Lord. We serve a God that will not let us stumble and the God that we serve neither slumbers nor sleep, so we can.
GET SOME REST AND GET EXCITED ABOUT EXPERIENCING BRAND NEW MERCIES IN THE MORNING!
Feb. 15, 2015
I will both lie down in peace and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Psalms 4:8 (NKJV)
Here is an encouraging scripture to lay down on. The psalmist had no doubt in his mind that God would watch over him as he slept, and that he would have a peaceful rest. I want to encourage someone on tonight not to allow worry to rob you of the peaceful sleep that God has for you. There is a scripture that says, "He gives His beloved rest." You are His beloved, so take advantage of the rest that God has for you.
PRAY AND IT, RELEASE IT, AND GO TO SLEEP!
GOD'S GOT IT!

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trust in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength.
Isa. 26:3-4 (NKJV)
Jan. 27, 2015
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Saints of God there is absolutely no-thing that we go through that God is unaware of. Everything that He allows in someway its to make us better. Remember God is faithful and He allowed you to go this here because He knew it wouldn't kill you, but He knew that it would bring the best out of you. You may not see it now, but what the enemy meant for evil the Lord will always turn it around for our good.
Rom. 8:28 (NKJV)
Jan 15, 2015
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all tribulation that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort which we ourselves are comforted by God."
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NKJV)
(Know that every trial and tribulation we face God will send comfort to us, so that we would be able to extend that same comfort to others. Encourage someone today, tell someone how God brought you out. It will bless not only them, but it glory to the Father.)
Jan. 14, 2015
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything, praiseworthy--meditate on these things.
Philippians 4:8 (NKJV)
(With all of the things going on all around us, it is imperative that we keep our minds on these things mentioned in today's text. When we keep our minds on the things of God there is a perfect peace that comes along with that. Keeping our minds filled with the promises of God will defeat depression, it will defeat oppression, and it will defeat confusion in every aspect of our lives. The mind is definitely a battlefield, but God has given us weapons that if used correctly will cause us to walk in victory every time. I always say you can't control what enters your mind, but you can control how long it stays there.)
Jan. 13, 2015
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into world.
1 John 4:1 (NKJV)
(People of God it is imperative that we know who is of God and who is not. We have to know what our assignments are, and we must know when something has been sent to take us away from our God given assignment. The bible speaks very expressively about knowing those that labor among you. The bible also says that even the very elect will be deceived. Walk in discernment, everything that comes in the name of the Lord is NOT from the Lord Jesus Himself. There are many counterfeits masking themselves as sheep, but are really wolves. We must test every spirit. They will come with titles attached to their names, and they will come with what may sound good. But thanks be to God for His precious Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of Truth, He will alert us when something does not line up according to the Word of God. So be wise as a serpent, but harmless as a dove. Believe not every spirit, but test the spirit whether they are of God!)

You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?
Galatians 5:7
This a good question for some of us. You started out on fire for the things of the Lord. There was a time you were excited about serving and doing whatever it took to make God smile. There was a time where you couldn't wait to pick up your bible to learn more about the Lord. There was a time when you fasted and prayed and sought the Lord with your whole heart. There was a time when you shut yourself off to spend time with the God, but something happened. You fell back into your old ways. You started hanging around those people that you knew were no good for you. You started back going to those places that you know you're not supposed to go. You started back doing those things that you know you're not supposed to do. You ran well. Who hindered you?Something hindered you.
Something has hindered you from reading your Word. Something has hindered you from fasting and praying. Something has hindered you from seeking the Lord with your whole heart. Paul asked a good question that most of us really need to meditate on, "Who has hindered you from obeying the truth?"
People of God what I am learning in this walk is the more the Lord gives you, the more you have to give up. To whom much is given much is also required. We have to understand with the anointing there is a price that we must pay. The way is narrow, and you are literally walking a tight rope in the spirit, so you can't allow people, places, or, things hinder you from obeying the truth.
You ran well, but who hindered you? Was it people you know, was it places you go, or is it things that you are doing? Who hindered you? The good news is that it's not too late to turn back. It's not to late to turn away from you and turn towards the Father. It's not too late too return to your first love.
Repent and acknowledging the fact that you strayed away from the Lord.
Ask the Lord to forgive you for backsliding.
Ask the Lord to help you by His grace to get back to that place where you first fell in love with Him.
Begin to praise Him for being merciful
Bless Him for being God!
Accept His forgiveness and get back on track
God is merciful to us and He will accept us back if we are willing to come...
Remember all it takes is a little leaven (sin) to leaven the whole lump. Let whatever it is go and walk in the fullness of God's grace.
He is waiting...
Jan. 11, 2015
So Samuel said, " Has the Lord as
great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the
Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of
rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as
iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also
has rejected you from being king."
1 Samuel 15:22-23
Pondering on these particular scriptures
caused me to have a greater reverential fear for the Lord. If any of you know
the account of Saul being rejected by God because of his disobedience you will
see the severity of when God says do something He means do it. There are a lot
of people who think that God is such a loving God that He will not punish
disobedience, yet the bible clearly teaches that He is a just God and
all sin will be judged. This is why it's so important to understand who our
Father really is. God is love, yet many forget that He is also holy.
Jesus made a statement that tests the
very root of our love for Him, He said, "...If anyone loves Me, he will keep My
word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home
with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which
you hear is not Mine, but the Father's who sent Me." (see Jn.
14:23-24)
This lets us know that being obedient to
the words that God speaks is our expression of love for Him. This is how we SHOW that we love Him, and when we truly love the Lord we will desire to please Him. When there is a true love for Him we will desire to do what He says do and go where He
says go. It is important that we be not only hearers, but also doers of the Word of God.
Our sinful nature is always at war with the Spirit of God on the inside of us. We have to understand that our fleshly desires will always refuse the counsel of God, and this is
why Paul tells us to walk in the spirit and we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh (Gal. 5:16). We must delight ourselves in the Lord, so that He can give us the desires of our hearts.
We have to be fully convinced that God is
sovereign in all that He does and in order for us to reap the full benefits of
what His word promises there are things that we must do. I want to challenge
you on today to do a self check up. When was the last time you said," Father I am just sick of my ways. I desire to please You in all that I do. I want more of You?"When was the last time true confession of your sins came forth? I encourage you to give it all to Jesus. He has given us everything the least we can do is give ourselves away to Him.
Make this declaration now that you will read His Word more, and you will pray more.
You want to do big things for God then walk in obedience with the small things first.
Be faithful over the few and you will soon be ruler over many.
Let us pray:
Father we come before You with a heart of repentance. We know that You honor obedience more than our sacrifices, so forgive us for thinking that we could bribe You with things when all You want is us. Help us to walk uprightly before You, and give us Your grace to help us through and we will forever give You the glory, praise and honor that You deserve in Jesus name.
Amen
Last week during bible study the Lord placed it on my heart to remind His people of the benefits of being a citizen of the Kingdom of God.
God has given us everything that we need to be successful is this walk and the bible says, "Jesus has the power of God. And his power has given us everything we need to live a life devoted to God. We have these things because we know Him. Jesus chose us by His glory and goodness (2 Peter 1:3 ERV)"
Everything that we need to live victoriously has been given to us. We have the love of our heavenly Father who gave us salvation through His only Son Jesus. We have Jesus, who is the great Intercessor , who is constantly pleading our case before the Father . And we have the baptism of the Holy Spirit. God has given us leaders after His heart, sisters and brothers that we can share and fellowship with, and least but not least He gave us His Word.
As I read this particular scripture the Lord said, "Tell my people what I have done for them."
Hebrews 9:13-14
The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a cow were sprinkled on those who were no longer pure enough to enter the place of worship. The blood and ashes made them pure again-but only their bodies. So surely the blood sacrifice of Christ can do much more. Christ offered himself through the eternal Spirit as a perfect sacrifice to God. His blood will make us completely clean from the evil we have done. It will give us clear consciences so that we can worship the living God.
We all know that Jesus shed His innocent blood in order to remove our sins and to restore our opportunity for a right relationship with God.
Again I heard the Lord say, "Tell my people what I have done."I was lead to remind you on today the power of the blood.
It is His blood that provides forgiveness for us who turned from our own way to turn to Him,
It is His blood that justifies us and declared us not guilty.
It is His blood that cleanses our conscience from the guilt and shame that we can serve Him with assurance.
It is His blood that sanctifies, purifies, and refines. My God there is power in the blood!!!
And it is the blood that opens the door for direct communication with God, oh the blood!
Everything that we need has been provided by the blood. No longer do we have to live a life of defeat. No longer do we have to live a life that is contrary to the Word because of the blood!
Embrace the blood, plead the blood, call on the blood!
It has been shed for your freedom, now be free in Jesus name!

This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; GREAT IS YOUR FAITHFULNESS. "The Lord is my portion," says my soul, therefore I hope in Him! The Lord is good to those who wait for Him,to the soul who seeks Him.
Lamentations 3:21-25 (NKJV)
Lamentations 3:21-25 (NKJV)
I went to the grocery store today, and I went in just to get a few things. I remember contemplating on how we were going to get all the things that we needed for our household. It's so easy when you are going through to focus on the problems, but it takes focus and discipline to keep your mind on the promises of God. As I was paying for my items, I heard God say, "THE GOD THAT YOU SERVE IS FAITHFUL!" I went out the door to walk to the car to see this huge rainbow in the sky.
We know that in the book of Genesis after the flood God sealed His promise that He would never destroy the earth by water with a rainbow. I walked out and saw this rainbow and the Lord said, "Keep your eyes on the promise." People of God, there are some things God has promised you and it seems like it is never going to happen. In fact everything around you says its not going to happen, but I've come to tell you THE GOD THAT YOU SERVE IS FAITHFUL!!!
He is not a God that He should lie, nor is He the Son of man that He shall repent. If God said it, He is going to do it. His Word will not return to Him void, but it will accomplish everything that He sent it forth to do. Again THE GOD THAT YOU SERVE IS FAITHFUL!!! He will do it just trust Him, just because He is silent does not mean He is not active. He is working it out for your good!
Be encouraged people of God

Jesus said, "I am the true Vine, and my Father is the Gardener. He cuts off every branch of Mine that does not produce fruit. He also trims every branch that produces fruit to prepare it to produce even more. You have already been prepared to produce more fruit by the teaching I have given you. Stay joined to Me and I will stay joined to you. No branch can produce fruit alone. It must stay connected to the Vine. It is the same with you. You cannot produce fruit alone. You must stay joined to Me. I am the Vine, and you are the branches. If you stay joined to Me, and I to you, you will produce plenty of fruit. But separated from Me you won't be able to do anything. If you don't stay joined to Me, you will be like a branch that has been thrown out and has dried up. All the dead branches like that are gathered up, thrown into the fire and burned. Stay joined together with Me, and follow my teachings. If you do this, you can ask for anything you want, and it will be given to you. SHOW THAT YOU ARE MY FOLLOWERS BY PRODUCING MUCH FRUIT. THIS WILL BRING HONOR TO MY FATHER."
John 15: 1-8 (ERV)
John 15: 1-8 (ERV)
In order to produce the fruit of righteousness we must be connected to the Righteous One. Being connected to the True Vine will cause us to yield fruit that is worthy of repentance. Being connected to the Holy One will cause us to yield fruit that is holy. Being connected, and staying connected is the only way we will be able to do what God has set out for us to do. Saints of God, a tree is known by the fruit that it bears, and if you are truly connected to the Vine people will see the fruit of the Spirit working in and through you. I encourage you to get connected and stay connect, this is the only way to be productive and bring glory to our Father in heaven.
Be blessed and stay connected.

Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty; For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole.
(Job 5:17-18)
(Job 5:17-18)
I love this particular passage of scripture, because it speaks of the very nature of God. Our Father loves us so much that even in chastisement there is still restoration and love. When we fall into sin God loves us enough not to allow us to stay in that state, so He allow things to happen that causes us to be broken. We are afflicted with the consequences of our actions, and it is in that state of brokenness that we began to see the error of our ways. The bible says, " For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hand make whole." He restores us back to our rightful place with Him.
The chastening of God has another benefit; it also causes us to bring forth the fruit of righteousness.
"Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it" (Heb. 12:11).
Just think about when you were a kid, and you did things that went against what your parents originally taught you. If you had parents like mine you got in trouble, and it did not feel good at all. But if you would really think back to that time after the punishment, you would see that that act of chastisement produced a righteousness in you that caused you not to want to be a partaker in that particular act again.
God deals with us the same way. A good parent does not take pleasure in disciplining their children, but they understand that it is for the good of the child. It is the same with God, He takes no pleasure in chastening us, but He understands that afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
So as the scripture says, "My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives" (Heb. 12:5-6)
Be encouraged and know that in order to be a disciple you must be disciplined!

..."Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit," says the Lord of hosts.
Zechariah 4:6
Zechariah 4:6
I was reading my daily devotion and I came across this encouraging word that blessed me. I know that as it has blessed me it will bless you also.
Willpower can be a powerful tool in the hands of a determined, disciplined individual. It can help you confront any problem you have and adjust your lifestyle. However, willpower only takes us so far and then we always run out of our own strength. Now, what happens if, instead of turning first to willpower in your time of need, you turn to God? God releases His power into you and enables you to go all the way through to victory. Now you're energized for positive change, but willpower does not get the credit for our success, God does.
Jesus said in John 15:5, "Apart from Me you can do nothing." This is one of the most important and most difficult lessons we must learn if we want to enjoy the life Jesus died to give us. When we turn to anything or anyone before God, He is insulted and is obligated to let us fail so we will realize that "except the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Ps. 127:1).
We must learn to let God do the heavy lifting. Let Him supply the ability to energize our choices. We can choose to exercise or stop overeating, but our choice alone is not enough for complete victory. Will-power and determination will get us started, but they've been known to quit in the middle and leave us stranded. God never quits in the middle. (Joyce Meyer)
As I was reading this it made me realize one thing and that one thing is... God has not created us to function well without Him and the sooner we learn that I believe the better off we would be. Always remember it is ONLY by the grace of God that we have made it this far.

What is man that You are mindful of him, the son of man that You visit for him? For You made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen; even the beasts of the field. The birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas. O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth.
Psalm 8:4-9
Psalm 8:4-9
Today I was thinking about the majesty of our great God and these words came up in my spirit. "Oh God what is man that you are mindful of him?" I want to encourage my brothers and sisters to know that we serve a mighty God who is concerned about the very state of man. We have to understand who we are and what we have been given. Here in this particular passage of scripture we see King David asking a simple yet powerful question. What is man that you are mindful of him? God in all of His sovereignty, and all of His deity has given us His creation dominion over all the works of His hands. What is man? The great King of kings and Lord of lords; God Himself comes and sup with us. What is man? The great and almighty God desires to have a relationship with us. What is man? God doesn't need our help, yet He chooses to make His plan known in the earth through us. Wow! What is man? A holy God loved us so much that He sent His only Son to die for us; yes us an unholy people. What is man? What an awesome God we serve! Just to think of how He has given us free will to serve Him freely, even though He can He doesn't force Himself on us. Again I find myself asking that same question, "Oh gracious God what is man that You are mindful of Him?"
Realize who you are and what has been given to You by a great and mighty God!
O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 1:6-7
1 Peter 1:6-7
God is so amazing in His wisdom and how He deals with us. For instance the Lord will show us a glimpse of what He is about to do for us, but He won't tell us the things we have to go through to get there. In His wisdom He knew that if we could pick and choose our own test we would always pick the ones that are comfortable, never growing always staying on the surface level. But today I can truly say," Lord I thank You for every tear I had to shed because of all the hurt. It birthed out true worship and it birthed out a praise that I didn't get from people."
People of God I encourage you to give God praise for the fiery trials, because how else would you know God to be a God of His Word if He never had to prove Himself? How else would you know God to be a Healer if you've never been sick? How else would you know God to be a Provider if you were never in need? And how else would you know Him to be a deliverer if He never had to be deliver you from something?
Lord we thank You for the process, we bless You for the crushing because in the crushing its bringing forth the oil of the anointing. Oh how great is our God!
SAY YES TO THE WILL OF THE LORD, YOU'VE FOUGHT IT FOR TOO LONG. HIS WAY IS PERFECT. DON'T DESPISE THE VALLEY, BECAUSE IT'S IN THE VALLEY THAT YOU WILL TRULY LEARN TO SEE GOD IN EVERYTHING!

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:13 (NIV)
As we enjoy ourselves on this day with family and friends, let us reflect on the great men and women that have laid down their lives for our country. The bible says, there is no greater love...
Also take a second and think about just how much Jesus loves you, and the fact that He loves you so much that he gave His very own life for you, because He calls you "friend."
There is a song called, "I am a friend of God." And I believe this song serves as a great reminder to us that we are the friends of God, and He truly cares for us. Beloved, Jesus Himself calls you His friend, and out of love He gave His life so that you could live. Embrace this truth on today. Know that you are loved no matter what the devil says. You are loved by an Almighty God who gave the ultimate sacrifice which was His only Son to die, so that you could have a chance to be heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. We serve a mighty God!
JUST A REMINDER: HE CALLS YOU FRIEND!

Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
2 Cor. 10:5
2 Cor. 10:5
People of God our actions reveal our thoughts. We should not cling to thoughts
that do not conform to the Word of God. We are not to walk according to the
flesh or our worldly desires, instead let us conquer our flesh. The Word of God
gives us a strategy to conquer our negative thoughts...
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ (1 Pet. 1:13).
The bible also instructs us to put on the whole armor of God and one of the pieces of armor is the helmet of salvation. I believe that as we put on this piece of armor we would have the mind of Christ. Having the helmet of salvation on keeps our mind in line with the Word of God. I encourage you to put on the whole armor of God, gird up the loins of your minds and cast down every imagination and high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Ask for the grace that makes all these things possible!
This is the strategy, we have to learn how to
discipline our minds, we can't control what enters but we can control how long
it stays there!

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your path.
Pro. 3:5-6
Pro. 3:5-6
There is a saying that patience us a virtue, and this is very true. Having patience is a real challenge and it is often a difficult thing to learn to wait especially when you need something done today and God doesn't answer immediately. Human nature tells us to make things happen for ourselves, because we are a people who has to see and understand how everything is going to work before we go along with it. In a sense that's okay, but not when it comes to God. In fact, it's the total opposite with God. The bibles says, "'For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways says the Lord" (Isa. 55:8). We have to learn to trust Him even in times when we can't hear His voice. We have to know that He has a plan for our lives, and that plan is good and not evil. Everything you provide for yourself has come with struggles attached to it. while waiting for the timing of God brings about the blessings that make you rich and it adds no sorrow.
Ask God to teach you how to wait on Him in everything. Repent for being anxious and leaning to your own understanding, and know that His way is indeed the best way for you. Only want the things He wants you to have. It will truly bless your life.
I encourage you to keep your eyes on the prize!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
2 Cor. 1: 3-4
2 Cor. 1: 3-4
This is a season of transition for a lot of us, and in this transition many of us have grown discouraged. It may seem as if the struggle is too much to bare, and there is no way out, but I want to encourage you on today to know that we serve a God who have been touched with the same things that we are touched with. He goes through with us. He promises His people that He would never leave us, nor forsake or abandon us. Even in a time where our emotions are all over the place He is still very present. The bible says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Ps. 46:1). He is right here waiting and willing to help in our time of need. Here is the awesome thing about this. When He comforts us we can comfort others. Your testimony will help bring comfort to those who are going through as well. I encourage you on today to allow God to comfort you. Give Him a chance to be that very present help. He will come when you call, then when you have been strengthen you can go strengthen your fellow sisters and brothers.
Be encouraged people of God we are almost there!

"So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead)."
James 2:17 (Amp)
Here we see in great detail how faith and what you do with the faith you have go hand and hand. It is not enough to just say I believe God for this and for that. We have to move on what we are believing God for. I encourage you to move and make some things happen. Take what God has said and work it. The Word of God has to be "worked" in order for it to work. God bless you all and remember FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD!!!

"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
Eph. 3:20
Eph. 3:20
As I was praying this scripture this morning the Lord began to minister to my spirit. The second part of that scripture said, "According to the power that works in us." This power that works in us is the same power that lifted Jesus out of the grave. We have been given such power because the Spirit of God lives within us. I encourage you on today to know that everything that God has called you to do His power in you will help bring it to pass. It is in Him that we live, move, and have our being, and we can do nothing outside of that power that works in us.
We serve a powerful God and He has been gracious enough to pour Himself in us. Use what God has given you to do His will and not your own. In doing this you will continue to see the manifestation of His power being evident in everything that concerns you.
Be encouraged!

This is a word the Lord lead me to tonight while in prayer. To all those who have been praying and petitioning the Throne of Grace. For those who have been waiting on the promises of God. He lead me to Psalms 20.
May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble;
May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
May He send you help from the sanctuary,
And strengthen you out of Zion;
May He remember all your offerings,
And accept your burnt sacrifice.
May He grant you according to your heart's desire,
And fulfill all your purpose.
We will rejoice in Your salvation,
And in the name of our God we will set up our banners!
May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed;
He will answer him from His holy heaven;
With the saving strength of His right hand.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
They have bowed down and fallen;
But we have risen and stand upright.
Save Lord!
May the King answer us when we call.
He said, He has not forgotten, so now is the time to thank Him for what we desire to see. He has heard our prayers now it's time to bless Him for the provision. Be encouraged people of God, as we have delighted ourselves in Him; He truly will give us the desires of our hearts. Only believe!
Be Blessed!

Food for thought: Everything that you will ever accomplish will be on your knees. It's not through your gift, nor is it through your education, but it's God who makes all things possible. It's through your total submission unto the Lord that will cause everything that you touch to be blessed.
Prayer and obedience is the key!
