He is our Strength!
...“but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough--always available--regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.”
2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 AMP
Many times we go through things and wonder "why me?"
I've asked that question many days. I've asked questions like, "Lord why does it have to take all of this?" Or why can't I just do it this way?" And the most popular one is, "Lord why do I have carry this load alone?"
This is just me being very transparent about the different things I ask the Lord when the fire gets too hot for me. 100% of the time the Lord says, " Daughter My grace is sufficient for you." I'll admit at the time of going through the struggle that's the last thing I want to hear. I just want out of it.
But God in His wisdom knows my frame, He knows that the plans that He has for me is good, and most of all He knows that I'm just venting at the moment, but I will come back to my senses (eventually).
In the process of trusting the Lord there will always be unanswered questions. There will always be times that our natural minds will not be able to comprehend what God is doing or why we are going through what we're going through, and most of the time the answer is not revealed until after He has delivered us. It's in those moments that the Lord reveals what He wanted us to learn.
I want to encourage you to stop asking "why"and start asking "what" as in, "What do You want me to learn from this?" One thing is for sure, the grace of God is strong enough to pull us through any circumstance or situation that we will ever face. He's more concerned about how we go through the trial than the actual trial itself. What we go through never catches Him by surprise, so He looks to see what our response will be. The question is will it be one of faith, or not?
Remember this: He will not allow us to go through anything that His grace cannot cover. His grace truly is all that we need. In every weakness that we encounter there is an opportunity for God to show just how strong He is. He is our strength! The bible says, "God is my strength and power, and He makes my way perfect." 2 Sam. 22:33 (NKJV)
Be encouraged people of God change is on the way!
Here are a few scriptures to meditate on concerning the Lord being our strength...
The Lord is their strength, and He is the saving refuge of His anointed. (Psalms 28:8)
The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace. (Psalms 29:11)
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalms 46:1)
Make it personal!
God bless you
