A love letter to the Lover of my soul!

There is none like You, O Lord; You are great, and great is Your mighty and powerful name. Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? For it is appropriate and it is Your due! For among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, THERE IS NONE LIKE YOU.

Jeremiah 10:6-7 (AMP)

Have you ever just sat a thought about how good God has been to you?

Have you ever sat still long enough just to meditate on His goodness?

I ask these questions because sometimes we lose sight on how fortunate we are to have some one like the Lord on our side. The scripture says, "There is none like You." Can we all agree that there is none like the Lord?

I'm writing this short blog just to help you see the brighter side of things. The world has painted this picture of disaster, and life has dealt us all a bad hand from time to time, but the fact still remains that there is none like the Lord. 

If I could write a love letter to the Lord it would go something like this...

Lord Jesus, I just want to take the time to tell You how much You mean to me. I understand that You hear our hearts above what we say out of our mouths, so Lord hear my heart when it says I loves You.

Hear my heart as it says, I'm nothing without You. There are a lot of words that can be wasted by trying to describe Your goodness, and I know that I speak for many of Your children when I say it is amazing how perfect Your love is. There is no way our natural minds can fathom such a pure love. There is no way our natural minds can even comprehend how you created the universe and everything else that was made.

Lord my love grows deeper as we spend time together. 
My love for You grows deeper when I'm studying Your word. 
Lord my love grows deeper for You as I sit and meditate on Your goodness.

You are righteous in all Your ways.
You are gracious in all Your works. 
You are near to all that call upon You in truth.
You fulfill every desire of those who fear You. 
You hear the cry of Your people and you save them. 

With this alone Lord I praise You.  
Thinking of you inspires me to do the things that are pleasing to You.

When I think of the all of Your benefits, how You forgive all of our iniquities, how You heal all of our diseases, and how You've redeemed our lives from destruction. Lord there is none like You!

I want to take the time to give You what You are due! Accept this letter as a token of my love. Hear the gratefulness of my heart as it says THANK YOU!

For You truly are the Lover of my soul

I love You Lord!
