Give up the ghost!

Give up the ghost!
James 1:12-15
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted of God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
Some of us may be asking ourselves why is that I continue to go through the same things, or why is it the I attract the same kinds of people. (Especially us ladies)! Why do I continue to attract the same kind of men.
I believe I have the answer for that...
First we are living in a world and even part of the church that is crying out why Lord, but the problem is we begin to blame others for our actions, or it's always someone else's fault that we are in certain situations. All of this takes place before we confront the truth which in reality is not the other people or the devil. The problem is us! The problem is not what is entering into our lives externally, nor is it the fault of what is taking place around us. THOSE THINGS THAT ARE COMING AT YOU EXTERNALLY HAS MERELY IDENTIFIED WITH SOMETHING THAT IS ALREADY IN YOUR HEART.
If the outside source continues to come at you then it has identified a familiar spirit on the inside of you. It is not what goes in that makes you unclean, but it's what comes out that makes you unclean. There is something familiar that keeps attracting those same kinds of people. There is something familiar that is attracting this same situation. In order to receive deliverance we have to be willing to confront the truth. We have to be willing to confront ourselves.
People of God, God wants to do a work in us. He wants to clean us up so much so that there is no unclean thing that could identify with us. He wants to fill us up with Him.
The bible says, "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee" (James 4:7). In order for us to fully resist the devil we have to first be submitted unto the Lord. In fact, there will no strength to resist unless we submit to God. As we humble ourselves, God will give us the grace to complete everything he has mandated us to do, but first there has to be submission. We have to GIVE UP THE GHOST!
Even when we have been delivered that spirit will still try to come, but it goes away because there is no familiar ground anymore. I encourage you to give up every ground that Jesus is not Lord over, let us and truly humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, because it is our own lustful desires that we are tempted with, but blessed are those who endure temptation!
Be blessed!
